ULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — For five years, Tulsa has brought the house down at South By Southwest.
“We are a top music city, and we must promote ourselves as such,” said Abby Kurin, director of the Tulsa Office of Film, Music, Arts, and Culture.
FMAC uses the festival as a way to raise the flag and bring some attention, and potentially business, to our great city.
“What I love is that we are down there with so many people from Tulsa, not just from the music scene, but arts organizations, film crew, photographers, you name it. They are all coming together to highlight what we have here; it’s this beautiful, creative conversation happening,” said Kurin.
